18th Annual Summit Concludes as Largest TMPAA Meeting

More than 900 program business professionals took advantage of opportunities to grow and improve their business by attending the 18th Annual Summit, the largest TMPAA meeting to date. The event–which included presentations from Patrick Ryan, founder and CEO of Ryan Specialty Group, and Jack Nicklaus, considered the greatest golfer of all time, along with 2 ½ days of networking opportunities, five workshops and panels, and a service provider trade show–was the place to learn, connect with peers and ultimately, get business done.

New Empire Group and NIP Programs were recognized at the 18th Annual Summit for completing the Best Practice recertification process.

“Recertification for our Best Practice Designation is required every three years to maintain the integrity of the award,” stated Tony Campisi, TMPAA President and President of Glatfelter Insurance Group. “Through the Best Practice process, these agencies have demonstrated operational excellence.”

The TMPAA Best Practice evaluation encourages participants to operate with the highest quality and greater efficiency in the way they conduct business. Successful candidates are recognized by program business professionals as a “best in class” organization. The protocol aims to enhance the status of Program Business in the insurance industry.
