Safe Summit Planning

Registrations for the 21st Annual TMPAA Summit are currently up over 10% from the same time in 2019, which was our largest meeting to date. There has also been significant growth in Carrier, Service Provider and Program Administrator membership in the Association since the beginning of this year.

In order to harness the increased energy in program business with an in-person Summit, we are working closely with the Westin Kierland to design a meeting that allows us to gather in the safest manner possible and where individuals can feel free to take precautions that allow them to feel comfortable attending. The TMPAA intends to follow all CDC recommendations as well as the Marriott’s safe meeting guidelines (view Marriott's Commitment to Clean with extensive safety protocols the Westin Kierland has implemented for all its guests). The following additional steps have been taken to accomplish this goal.

Every attendee will be asked to sign a Safe Summit document at registration that will signify agreement and compliance with the TMPAA Summit meeting requirement that you have been vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus or have had a negative COVID-19 test within the last 48 hours, and will wear a mask if unvaccinated (per CDC guidelines). Your signature will also attest to the fact that you are not currently or have not within the past fourteen (14) days experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath, among others. This document will be required to receive your name badge.

The TMPAA expects to have a facility on-site to provide voluntary, free COVID-19 testing to assist with compliance and any in-meeting testing that may be necessary.

You can also expect the following:

  • All hotel staff will be masked
  • Masks will be requested, and indicated on signage, in areas where distancing is not possible (general session, workshops and registration)
  • Sunday evening early registration will be outside on the Northern Sky Terrace
  • Monday morning registration utilizes additional indoor space
  • Two outdoor networking spaces with tables have been created for attendees (name badges required)

Cooperation with all measures outlined above are designed to make this a safer meeting for you, your business partners, colleagues, and friends.
