This new responsibility is in addition to Chris’ role as President of Ryan Specialty National Programs Dealer Services and Self Storage programs. With this news, John Welty, President of SUITELIFE Underwriting Managers, announces his retirement from SUITELIFE as of June 30th and added, “I wish Chris every success in the leadership of SUITELIFE.”

Commenting on this appointment, Shawn Yingling, CEO of Ryan Specialty National Programs, said, “Having Chris succeed John as President of SUITELIFE Underwriting Managers brings continuity to our SUITELIFE business. Chris has been with the National Programs team and Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers since he joined the firm with the All Risks acquisition in 2020. Chris is well known to our capital providers and has been in the specialty insurance business for over three decades, 17 of which have been in delegated authority. We thank John for his years leading SUITELIFE and wish him the best with this new and exciting phase in his life.”
