ReSource Pro Names Retired Rear Adm. John Spencer as Senior Director of Operations

NEW YORK (March 14, 2023) -- ReSource Pro, the leading provider of innovative, data-driven business solutions for the property and casualty insurance industry, has hired retired Rear Admiral John Spencer as its new Senior Director of Operations. 

A decorated officer with more than three decades of high-level operations experience in the United States Navy, Spencer is the latest addition to a growing leadership team aimed at supporting ReSource Pro’s expanding capabilities at the forefront of developing and delivering high-value, experience-driven and tech-enabled services for insurance providers.

Spencer’s new role as Senior Director of Operations will encompass standardizing organizational structures, onboarding practices and business integration systems across ReSource Pro’s global enterprise. He will be heavily involved in supporting the company’s aggressive growth plan through rigorous M&A assessment and implementation as well as organic growth.

Spencer brings deep operations experience to ReSource Pro amassed over a 31-year career as an officer in the United States Navy, pinnacled by his ascension to the rank of Admiral. Prior to retiring from active military duty in 2022, Spencer’s final assignment was commanding officer, Submarine Group 10 where his responsibilities included leading more than 5,000 personnel charged with maintaining and deploying eight nuclear submarines at the height of military readiness. His naval career highlights include posts as Executive Officer to the Commander of U.S. Strategic Command, policy advisor at the Pentagon, and assignments as submarine squadron commander and commanding officer of the nuclear submarine USS Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the United State Naval Academy, earned a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and is a Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government National Security Fellowship recipient.
