TMPAA Antitrust Compliance Policy

All TMPAA meetings and activities will be conducted in strict compliance with applicable antitrust laws. To ensure that our discussions and actions remain appropriate, please remember that TMPAA activities will not include any action—whether expressed or implied, formal or informal—that could:

  1. Raise, lower, stabilize, or otherwise influence prices or other competitive terms of insurance products or program business.
  2. Collectively affect the terms of purchase of any input, including but not limited to compensation, commissions, or other payments made to agents, brokers, or program administrators.
  3. Organize or participate in group boycotts or collective refusals to deal with third parties.
This does not restrict TMPAA’s ability to make independent, legitimate membership decisions in accordance with its bylaws and established criteria.
  4. Allocate customers, products, or geographic markets among competing participants.
  5. All attendees are expected to be aware of and comply with these requirements. If you have any questions or concerns about appropriate discussion topics, please consult the TMPAA Executive Director, a member of the Advisory Board, TMPAA legal counsel, or your own counsel.
