Charlotte, North Carolina-based Amwins said the move, which excludes its network of partner firms in Latin America and Asia, is part of a broader update of Amwins’ brand identity.

Amwins said in December it had agreed to buy Hamilton, Bermuda-based International Specialty Brokers Ltd., a property/casualty wholesaler and reinsurance broker.
