Breckenridge Insurance Group Names Trevor Pierce and Tim Anders to Leadership Positions

Atlanta, GA, May 10, 2019 — (INSURANCE JOURNAL) — Breckenridge Insurance Group announced two senior leadership positions at the wholesale insurance organization.

Trevor Piece has been promoted to division president for the Breckenridge brokerage and binding team from division vice president and managing broker.  Tim Anders joins Breckenridge in the newly created role of senior vice president of underwriting for the Breckenridge binding and Blue River Underwriters program divisions.

Pierce assumes responsibility for the brokerage and binding team with twelve offices nationwide. His demonstrated sales leadership and staff development skills have earned him and his team honors within the company and the industry. Pierce has more than 18 years of industry experience having brokered or underwritten numerous and diverse products with top-rated carriers internationally.

“I plan to build on our strengths and find more ways to support collaborative growth. I’ve seen the value we bring to the table in working with our independent agents. Having started my insurance career as a retail producer, I would have wanted a partner like Breckenridge in my corner then and even more so now. We have a great team and we’re looking for select others to join us,” stated Pierce.

Anders brings more than 25 years of experience to Breckenridge with a focus on program development and underwriting leadership. He was last vice president underwriting and operations at GuideOne Insurance and was previously vice president of alternative and new programs at Zurich North America. He also worked in senior roles at The Hartford and Atlantic Mutual Companies. He is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and has a master’s in business administration.

“What attracted me to Breckenridge was the combination of existing program quality and binding authority of the team and significant potential for furthering this success. Having a culture and leadership that is clearly supportive of investing in sustainable growth, strong partnerships and customer focus is yet another reason to be excited about our collective future,” shared Anders.

“These two appointments of proven professionals reflect our commitment to being a vital resource to our independent agents, brokers and carrier partners. I knew of Tim’s talents firsthand prior to joining Breckenridge and have been quickly impressed by Trevor in my time since joining,” added David Jordan, chief executive officer of Breckenridge Insurance Group.
